3 days into being allowed to go open water diving 3 members travelled to the dive quarry at Capernwray to get back into the water. Having had an intermittent diving year in 2020 and no diving since December we approached our dives very cautiously. Staying on the 6m shelf for the first dive as we got reacquainted with our kit and buoyancy control as we followed the BSAC ‘return to diving’ good practice.
It was good to be there. The sun was shining, the visibility OK and not too many people.
