Waves Shape

A somewhat frustrating weekend in St Abbs. Fog and N wind (=wave height) forecast. But how accurate is the forecast ?

Strange day Saturday starting off with a good bit of mist and wave action but giving way to sunshine and calmer seas by lunchtime. The mist did keep coming in and back out again. Morning decision had already been made ‘no diving’.All walked to Eyemouth prepared for the winter but with the sunshine and heat gradually arriving.

Eyemouth on the harbour front has been well landscaped and is a pleasant spot in the sunshine. Fingers were crossed for Sunday and the weather gods looked down favourably on us. 2 very pleasant dives – Skellies and Weasel Loch.

Thank you to Paul and Rachel at Rock House for looking after us in the water and on land.
