Try-a-Dive event:

Try dive
experiences can be arranged without any
obligation, and are open to anyone who is at
least 14 years old, who can swim a minimum of
100m, and are reasonably fit.
What Do You Need?
Just you & your swimwear and we’ll provide the
rest of the scuba equipment you’ll need.
What’s Involved?
Your “Try-A-Dive” session will involve a
pre-dive briefing to familiarise yourself with
the equipment and signals we use in diving. You
will then receive a one-to-one try dive with one
of our experienced and fully trained divers.
Afterwards there will be a de-brief and the
opportunity to talk to current members (usually
at our local meeting centre; The Flyboat Inn,
Aspley, Huddersfield), and for those who are
interested we can enrol you to BSAC and the
Huddersfield sub-aqua club.
The whole experience takes approximately
1.5hours and is available every Monday* evening
(except bank holidays) at the Huddersfield
Sports Centre, from 8pm until 9.30pm.

What’s the cost?
The cost of a Try-A-Dive is only £20, including
loan of the necessary scuba equipment.
