Oban Feb 2009
Ten
divers set out to dive in
Oban during February. We
were joined on the boat by two southerners who
were our techie divers and had rebreathers.
The MV Halton was fantastic and it was
commented that it was the ‘driest boat
we had ever been on!’. The facilities were fantastic,
showers were hot and the full board food delicious.
We dived the
Breda, the Hispania, the Rondo and the Shuna and some even managed
a night dive. The diving viz was great although the water was cold.
We had an evening in Oban,
and evening in Tobermoray, where we visited the Mishnish
and danced in Mcleod’s Bar.
Our last night was spent at Lochaline where we had a
few beers and a game of pool. The scallop dive on
the last day was a not very fruitful but everyone had
an excellent time. |
