
AIM
To;
● introduce divers to the role of leading dives,
●
continue the development of diving and dive
leading skills
●
provide rescue management skills
●
be a competent dive marshal
●
supervise branch dives to locations well known
to the branch
●
dive to depth of 35m, but progressively extend
to a maximum
depth of 50m.
THE COURSE
Comprises a combination of;
●
classroom lessons (covering 12 theory modules &
an
assessment),
●
dry practical lessons (2 modules),
●
open water lesson dives (to cover 7 ‘open water’
modules).
●
20 dives in a range of conditions
(all theory modules, written exam, and dives
must be approved and signed off by a qualified
BSAC Instructor in order to pass the DL
qualification)
YOUR COMMITMENT
To enable the course to run smoothly for
yourself, other students, and particularly the
Instructors, it is important that you are
committed to further developing your diving
skills on the DL course.
